Kumara, Turmeric and Cumin Bean Dip

Need inspiration for a dip that burst with flavours? In 10 minutes, combine kumara, turmeric, cumin and coriander, and drizzle with honey, for a treat both sweet and spicy.

Ingredients

  • Tin white cannellini beans, drained - 420 g
  • Clove garlic - 1
  • Lemon zest - 2 Tbsp
  • Olive oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • Cooked orange kumara, mashed - 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric - 1/4 Tbsp
  • Ground cumin - 1 Tbsp
  • Coriander, chopped - 1/2 cup
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Honey to drizzle

Method

  1. Into a kitchen processor place the beans, garlic, zest, oil, lemon juice and blitz until smooth.

  2. Add the kumara, turmeric, cumin and coriander to the base dip blitzing to combine. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

  3. Serve with a drizzle of honey.
