Hoisin, Ginger & Garlic Beef
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 500g beef steak, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 Tbsp finely sliced fresh ginger
- 1 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup select hoisin sauce
- 2 cups rice cooked according to packet directions
- 500g select frozen mixed vegetables steamed or stir fried to serve
Heat half of the oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat.
Stir-fry half of the beef for 1 minute, then set aside and repeat with the remaining oil and beef.
Return all the beef to the pan and add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for a further minute. Add the fish sauce, rice vinegar and hoisin sauce. Cook for a further 2 minutes, stirring to coat the beef with the sauce.
Serve with rice & vegetables.
