Lamb and Paprika Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp finely grated lemon rind
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to season
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil

Method

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine mince, cumin, coriander, garlic, paprika, oregano, lemon rind and juice. Season with salt and pepper.

  • 2. Roll mixture into teaspoon-sized balls.

  • 3. Heat oil in a large frying pan and cook meatballs in batches until golden and cooked through. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
