Fruit Mince Fudge

Ingredients
- 400g dark cooking chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 395g sweetened condensed milk
- 50g unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup prepared fruit mince*
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds, roasted, plus 1/4 cup extra

Method

1. Lightly grease a 20cm square cake tin. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above the tin edge.

2. In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate, condensed milk and butter. Stir over a low heat for 4-6 minutes or until smooth. Remove from the heat and stir fruit mince and almonds through.

3. Spoon into prepared tin, ensuring it’s smooth and even on the top. Sprinkle with extra almonds and chill overnight. Cut into squares and serve.
