Overnight Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 ½ cups milk

Method

  • 1. Turn your slow cooker on low.

  • 2. Into the cooker place milk, salt, cinnamon, oats, chia seeds and 2 1/2 cups of water. Give it a good stir. Cover with the lid and cook overnight, or if you have a timer put it on for 5 hours.

  • 3. In morning the porridge will be ready. You may need a little more milk to loosen.

  • 4. Give it a good stir and serve hot with your favourite toppings.
