Mulled Wine Spritzer

10 minutes + 15 minutes Serves 10


  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 250ml dry red wine
  • 250ml dry white wine
  • 150ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 150ml pineapple juice
  • Orange and lemon slices, to serve
  • Ice
  • Soda Water

1. To make sugar syrup, place caster sugar, water, cinnamon stick and the lime zest in a saucepan. Place over high heat and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool and strain.

2. Place syrup, wine, juice and citrus slices in a large jug with lots of ice. Top with soda water, stir and serve immediately in chilled glasses.
