Ham with Apricot and Mustard Glaze


  • 1 whole leg of ham, cooked on the bone
  • 1½ cups apricot jam
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard

How to Chop Herbs


  • Preheat oven to 180°C.

  • Carefully remove the rind from ham. Score the fat in a diamond pattern.

  • Add ¼ cup water to a roasting pan and place the ham on a wire rack in the centre of the pan.

  • Combine the apricot jam, sugar, mustard in saucepan, stir over a low heat until combined. Brush ham with a third of the mixture to evenly coat.

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and heated through. Brush with remaining glaze every 20 minutes until remaining is used up.

  • Smart Tip: For a crunchy nutty taste mix 1½ cups chopped mixed nuts with 1/3 of the glaze, press onto ham and bake for the last 15 minutes of cooking time.
