Panettone French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 8 panettone thick slices
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • maple syrup to serve
  • mascarpone or whipped cream to serve
  • fresh berries or banana to serve

Method

  • 1. Whisk together eggs and milk with a pinch of cinnamon.

  • 2. Soak slices of panettone in egg mixture.

  • 3. Fry in a little butter until lightly browned on each side.

  • 4. Serve with fresh berries and/or banana drizzled with maple syrup and mascarpone.
