Customer Update on Palace Poultry Eggs

17 March 2017: Based on media reports, we have serious concerns that Palace Poultry may have sold us some cage eggs on the basis they were free range. We are working hard to quickly verify whether these allegations are true. While we investigate, we have withdrawn Palace Poultry products from our shelves.

As we have already said in the media, if the allegations are true, we are committed to meeting all our legal obligations and doing the right thing for our customers. We are progressing our investigation as quickly as we can.

We apologise if this is causing customers frustration, and ask customers if they could bear with us while we get to the bottom of this matter.

If customers have Palace Poultry eggs at home now and they would like to return they can do so for a full refund.
