Christmas cooking the kids will love
Nothing says Christmas quite like the delight on a kids face. And while it is infinitely easier to cook and bake your way through the Christmas to-do list without little people in tow, they will love the experience of helping with these wonderful Christmas delights.
It may sound like a task only to be attempted by a baking expert but our Gingerbread House is far easier than you think. Not only that, there are lots of cooking jobs the kids can help, from measuring out the dry ingredients, to stirring and rolling the dough. And once it’s cooked, you can let their imaginations run wild with the decorations. Download a Gingerbread House template here
Need we say more. The kids are going to love these easy to make cake pops, especially when it comes time to eat them. And what a fun addition to the Christmas table. The kids can help by crumbling the chocolate cake into a bowl, mixing the ingredients together, and of course, dipping the chilled cake pops in their chocolate coating.
These are perfect to prep well ahead of Christmas day, as they will last for a month in an airtight container. When you’re ready to serve, pull out the pre-prepared meringues and let the kids loose with a bowl of cream and your favourite toppings. Yum.
