With Easter approaching, the longest weekend of the year, here’s some of our favourite meal ideas to get you through Easter weekend.
It’s that time of year again when we pile the kids into the car, along with the kitchen sink, or we stay at home and they all come to us! Either way, it’s time to enjoy the last long weekend of sunshine, whether you’re staying or going.
A weekend away usually means many mouths to feed and the cook camping out in the kitchen. When you’re feeding a crowd, it’s always good to have a couple of easy go-to meals up your sleeve. Something that can be prepared quickly, is stress-free and makes you look like a rock star in the kitchen.
Potato salad is a classic, and there’s something about it that just screams ‘you’re on holiday!’. If you’re heading away this Easter try making our Easy Potato Salad, it’s easy to prepare and will feed the masses. Make it at home, seal it in an air tight container and it’s good to go.
Our Tandoori Chicken Skewers are a great dish to take away on holiday and they’ll feed the whole family. They’re quick to prepare and are delicious when paired with a mint yoghurt. You can prepare everything at home, seal in an air tight container and keep chilled until ready to cook. They make for a great snack or a delicious lunch with a green salad.
If you’re staying home this Easter, our tasty Beetroot, Feta and Walnut Tarts will go down a treat. They’re quick, simple to make and a real crowd pleaser. Eat them fresh from the oven with a fresh green salad and you’ve got a meal the whole family will love. When you’ve got a full household our Easy Chocolate Fudge is always a winner. It’s delicious and is the perfect gift for any sweet tooth. If you’re making it into little gift bundles you can dress it up by adding desiccated cococut or hundreds and thousands. You can also change things up by replacing the dark chocolate with white chocolate, to make White Chocolate Fudge.
