Changes to in-store shopping
General hygiene and masks
We encourage customers to keep up good hygiene practices by washing their hands regularly and using the hand sanitiser available in our stores. If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home.
As mandated by the government, all customers will need to wear a mask or face covering when they are shopping in our stores. If you forget to bring a mask with you, our team will provide you with one. If you have a legitimate reason for not being able to wear a mask, such as a medical condition, please politely let our in-store team know.
Physical distancing in place throughout the country
This includes markings on floors, perspex screens at checkout, using the shopping trolley as a guide for distance and closing off every second checkout and every second self-service checkout.
To help our checkout team stay safe, we will be asking you to pack your own bags at checkouts.
Limiting customer numbers in store
To make sure everyone has space to shop safely, we will be monitoring the number of people in our stores at any one time.
Where possible, please make sure you are sending one person, per family to do the shopping.
There will be a separate queue for customers collecting Pick up orders.
Extra cleaning in stores
As part of the health and safety measures we have in place, we will be carrying out additional cleaning in our stores. This will include regular cleaning of high touch areas such as the eftpos machines at checkout and our self-service checkouts.
Delis, bulk food and BYO containers
Our delis will stay open however we’ve closed our bulk food sections.
We are not currently accepting BYO containers or BYO bags for Pick up.
