What to do with Christmas leftovers

The big day has come and gone and you’re left with what feels like half a beast and no idea what to do with it. Here’s a few meal ideas to make the most of your Christmas meat.

It’s the day after Christmas. You open the fridge and realise you have more food leftover than you know what to do with. And for whatever reason, that large Turkey or Ham, that was once the masterpiece of your Christmas spread now feels a little intimidating. The thought ‘how on earth are we going to get through this?’ comes to mind. Fear not, we have a couple of creative ideas up our sleeve.

The trusty old frittata has been helping us use up leftovers for decades. Try our Ham and Corn Frittata, it takes next to no time to whip up and if you have any other leftover veges they can go in too. There are endless options and flavour combinations when it comes to making a frittata.

Another great way to use up leftover Christmas ham is by introducing it into your breakfasts. Try making our Herbed scrambled eggs on Croissants. If you have family staying over the Christmas or summer period, this is a great breakfast that is easy, will feed the crowds and involves minimal effort.

Our Herbed Butter Roast Turkey with Prosciutto & Pear Stuffing is a real treat on Christmas day. There won’t be a person sitting at your Christmas table who’s unimpressed. The great thing about turkey, is it always goes the extra mile for leftovers. A favourite of ours is sliced turkey, fresh rocket and cranberry sandwiches on fresh bread.
