Boost offer terms

These terms apply to Product Boost Offers. The Boost offer is loaded to selected Onecards for the selected customers to redeem within the promotion period stated in the Boost offer (“Promotion Period”). A selected customer needs to simply use their Onecard (with the same Onecard number as the number stated in the Boost offer) as set out in the Boost offer, at any physical participating Countdown store, or online (at shop.countdown.co.nz) during the Promotion Period. Unless we state otherwise, the Boost offer is available for both in-store or online purchases.

If the selected customer is redeeming their product Boost offer online, their online order must be placed within the Promotion Period via their online Countdown shopping account. The delivery and invoice date can be the following week. If you have selected the “Allow Substitutions” box at the online checkout and the product on offer is not available at the time of order processing/picking, the product may be substituted for another product. If we substitute the product, the discount or reward that would have applied to the product on offer, will still be applied to the substitute product.

The bonus Boost offer includes the customer's standard Onecard rewards earned during the Promotion Period. In the event of any other “bonus” fuel discount (outside of this promotion) being offered by Countdown during the Promotion Period, that other fuel discount will apply in accordance with its own terms.

Who is eligible

This Boost offer is only available to those customers who have received communication directly from Countdown (normally an email), or it features on their registered Onecard Boost offers website landing page or on the myCountdown app. They must use the Onecard registered in their name and specified in the Boost offer. The Boost offer cannot be shared with another person by forwarding the email. The Boost offer (email message or otherwise) may need to be shown to checkout team members at the time of redemption to ensure validity. Countdown team members are not excluded from this promotion.

How to Redeem

To redeem the Boost offer, a customer needs to simply use their Onecard when they purchase the product specified in their Boost offer at any physical participating Countdown store or online during the Promotion Period. The Boost offer is loaded onto the customer’s registered Onecard, so it must be used in-store or online to ensure the discount or reward applies.

The bonus rewards (Onecard rewards points or cents per litre depending on the rewards currency the customer has pre-selected), will be added to the customer’s Onecard account within 5 working days of the Promotion Period closing date.

Alcohol Boost Offers

Customers must be aged 18 or over to be eligible to purchase liquor and must be prepared to present suitable ID confirming their age at the point of sale.

Liquor is not available in all stores. Beer and wine not available at Countdown Henderson, Westgate, Northwest, Hobsonville, Lincoln Road, Kelston, Massey, Te Atatu, Te Atatu South, Gore, Waikiwi, Invercargill, and Blockhouse Bay. Beer is not available at Countdown Wine Shop Lynnmall. Countdown Pukekohe South alcohol available 7am to 10pm only.

Variations

Countdown reserves the right to vary any of the terms of redemption applying to this promotion or to modify, terminate, suspend or reschedule this promotion.

All saves are based on non-promotional prices. Onecard club prices only apply when you use your Onecard. Onecard loyalty programme terms & conditions apply. We reserve the right to limit quantities. General

Countdown is not responsible for any Boost offers not redeemed within the applicable promotion period. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any rights entrants may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Countdown and its related companies, employees and agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising out of entering this promotion or claiming/winning any prize. Countdown is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the promotion. By entering into this promotion, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Boost offer is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Countdown is not responsible for any breach of these terms and conditions. The Boost offer is only available in New Zealand.

Privacy Policy and Use of Personal Information

Any personal information collected by Countdown through the promotion will be stored, used and disclosed in accordance with Countdown’s Privacy Policy on www.countdown.co.nz/about-us/our-policies/privacy-statement and the Privacy Act 1993. Entrants have the right to access their personal information pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993, or with effect from 1 December 2020, the Privacy Act 2020 (as applicable the “Privacy Act”), and can do so by contacting customerinfo@countdown.co.nz or via one of the methods set out in Countdown’s Privacy Policy. By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the use of their information as described above.
