Infant formula information

Countdown security measures remain in place around infant formula

In mid-June, in consultation with MPI, we returned infant formula tins to the shelves and created an alert at the checkout for our team and our customers to check the seal and the tin for any signs of tampering, before the product leaves the store.

These security measures in our stores will remain in place as well as increased security measures in the back of store, in the distribution centres, and with the online shopping delivery process.

We are continuing to encourage our team and our customers to check their cans of infant formula for any sign of tampering, and keep an eye out for anything suspicious or unusual. If you see something you’re concerned about, please let a member of our team know immediately.

If you suspect your product has been tampered with, please contact the NZ Police on 0800 723 665 or take the product to your local police station.
