This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Baker/Assistant Bakery Manager with strong leadership skills and the desire to take their career to the next level!
In this busy, 'hands on' role you will be involved in the production of our bakery range including a variety of breads, muffins and cakes. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of all facets of the Bakery Department, including stock control and display, staff supervision and development, department planning and budgets and ensuring that Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are adhered to. Most importantly, you will be focused on fresh and committed to providing our customers with only the best in service and standards.
To succeed in this role you will be a team player that demonstrates the ability to lead by example and motivate others to achieve results. Strong planning and organisational skills are essential together with a proven ability to communicate effectively with team and customers from a variety of backgrounds.
You must have practical bakery experience, preferably gained within in a large retail environment.
